You are entering our blog page - welcome ! We are the Maths HL group in the IB Diploma Programme at the 2nd High School in Kalisz, Poland.

We hope you'll stay for a while to get to know us and explore the topics that interest us. Feel free to comment on our posts—we’d love to hear your thoughts!

Who are we?

As mentioned, we’re a group of eight high school students who absolutely adore learning English and spending time at school !

Adam 

Adam is a new student originally from the UK. He spent the last school year on a student’s exchange scholarship based programme in Houston, Texas (USA) before returning to Poland, where his family comes from and continuing his education now in Kalisz.His British accent dazzles us with its beauty and sophistication. Which he uses by tutoring others and by giving English lessons after school.Adam is a very talkative, honest, and open person who is incredibly easy to talk to. His presence is felt throughout the classroom due to his infectious comedic relief, which is adored by everyone. Adam is the go-to person for anything, whether you need help and advice for a failing relationship, an outfit check, or even a much-needed reality check.

Antonia

Antonia, our classmate has quickly made her mark on the classroom as one of the most talkative,vibrant and caring members of our group. If you need any help with math, chemistry or physics, her incredible scientific mind will give you a hand. Always laughing and smiling, Antonia will make you happy even on your worst day. If you’re looking to take a break and unwind, head to the skatepark with Antonia—you’re guaranteed to have the time of your life!

Kamila 

Another from those you hear before you see her. If you need help with literally anything, she will always be happy to give you a hand. She is down for everything but surely not down-to-earth. Anytime you go and fly with her in the sky. 

This classmate of ours has come to our school for the second grade, experienced with two other high schools, counting in a semester of home-schooling. 

Zuz 

The non-binary angel that will always give you a piece of advice worth thousands. They will join you for a dance break any time, with a big smile and a joyful laugh. This aesthetic monarch will show you the best outfits of the year and then have a meaningful conversation afterwards. 

This friend “the Maths final boss” will always assist you with the hardest tasks and will be patient to effectively guide you through it.  

Igor 

The man of various talents. He will teach you how to fight, cook you a delicious pizza and then party with you through the whole night. With his intelligent glare and worth-a-Grammy he can present to you a TED talk about anything. 

If you ever need a co-CEO for your company, call Igor and you could gain a trustworthy and professional colleague that will be your life-time best friend. 

Kacper 

A person that is always late but definitely worth waiting for. You can ask him about nearly everything and he will give you an academic answer. He will be your bestie and guide you through the museum with his ever-expanding history knowledge. Kacper is an amazing conversation partner that will talk with you about any philosophical issue. 

Zosia

Witty in her jokes and in her bright answers on tests. That’s a genius girl that will always share her knowledge with you. If you need any help at school, she will know all the answers! 

She will also know everything about how you should stretch every possible muscle in your body. She is an award-winning rhythmic gymnast that will dance away through the party with you, keeping you an amazing company. 

Ignacy 

Our Physics professor who will discuss every question with you and tell you interesting fun facts about any topic. He also joined our class only this year, coming with a valuable view on things we talk about. If you need a theoretical look on your project, go to him and you will be granted with a highly helpful statement!

With this, we create a full-package ride or die that will be your once in a lifetime experience!
